  • Title (in an age where we have a multitude of programming options, it needs to grab viewers' attention)
  • Suggested number of episodes
  • One line synopsis, one paragraph synopsis and a longer (1-2 page) show synopsis, describing the narrative, form and tone of the program. (A good reference guide for what is a synopsis/outline can be found in the 'Starting in the Industry' section of the Screen Australia website.)
  • Content segments
  • Proposed talent — Is it authored, presenter-led or does it have narration?
  • If your film/series is access-driven, do you have the access in place? (We will be asking for proof of this if we decide to go ahead)
  • Target audience and how you plan to appeal to them
  • Social media strategy
  • Impact strategy (where applicable)
  • Extra digital offerings
  • If you have a budget, finance plan, development / production funding or a post-production pre-sale, then we would like to know about this too
  • Who are the key creative talent on board the project? (include CVs)
  • We are looking for creative and unexpected forms of storytelling and program making, so please explore how you can be bold with the form it takes
  • If you submit a trailer, it should be no longer than 5 mins and be easily available, preferably by a Vimeo link
