- Lime scooter numbers are to be cut from 750 to 400
- New operator Neuron Mobility will have 600 geo-fenced scooters
- Brisbane Deputy Mayor Krista Adams says the council "looked very carefully" at safety
"We are excited about some of the geo-fencing opportunities with these new scooters to make sure they definitely cannot go through places like Queen Street Mall, Roma Street Parklands and South Bank,"Councillor Adams said.
"We're working with the State Government on that and the modes of speed on the new scooters are something that we will be interested in and will talk with our tenderers as well,"she said.
