- The outback town of Yaraka has become its own locality, separate from Isisford more than 100km away
- Until 2017, Yaraka shared a postcode with coastal locations as far away as Shoalwater in central Queensland
- Securing a unique postcode means Christmas cards and birthday gifts should arrive on time
"In 2017, when we were issued with Isisford's 4731 postcode, it got us closer to home, but there are still issues."
"It's like Christmas in July... That's how long you've got to wait,"Ms Byrne said.
"We've won this one, and it shouldn't be as much of a battle now."
