"We have seen some heat illness cause an increase in demand on all health services and triple-0 calls,"NSW Ambulance acting Chief Superintendent Anna Hunter said.
"Northern Victoria might not see that change until Wednesday and even if they do, temperatures are only going to drop slightly compared to much … bigger drops across southern parts of the state,"Mr Narramore said.
"As soon as they see them, they all know what they are — they all race over and they almost push you out the way,"Mr Sinclair-Smith said.
