"That's a touch of Australia. An Aboriginal [soldier] with a kangaroo. It would have been a unique sight,"Mr Bakker said.
"The trenches were dismal places. You couldn't go out and collect some grass,"Mr Bakker said.
"Australians were sometimes known for being rule breakers, so I guess this is an example."
