"I found when I was including the fact I had an assistance dog on [rental] applications, I was being rejected,"she said.
"At any point, any business can just turn around and say 'no', and the only way to have that dealt with is to report it to the Human Rights Commission,"she said.
"In 2025, more people rely on assistance animals, including children, in education, for their everyday life,"she said.
"[Being told] that they can't work where they want, they're not allowed to go to the cinema, or enter shops."
