"The practice is not worth very much, I bought it for literally $2 and I will sell it for that to anyone that wants to take it."
"But it felt devastating that this is another rural community where primary health care has just failed."
"Unfortunately, the number of doctors has dropped off and it's been just unsustainable both financially and physically to continue running the practice as it is,"he said.
"The more remote our communities are, and I think the more out of sight or disconnected from our federal and state seats of power, the less they care,"Cr Campbell said.
"It's the health of this community that's suffering,"he said.
"We can't keep relying on the heroics of individual doctors to keep these communities cared for,"Dr Hester said.
