"It's just such a place where you can be with other people who are going through the same sorts of things and have the same emotions."

"What we're seeing at the moment, though, is, the cost of delivering services is increasing,"

"We've been actively advocating to government for this contribution to increase to 25 cents in the dollar, but unfortunately we've been informed that we are at real risk of having the existing 13 cents reduced even further."

"We are aware Cancer Council has made a budget submission to the 2025–26 budget as is usual practice, and we are currently working through all community submissions."

"We're not asking the government to fully fund our cancer support and cancer prevention programs," Ms Lai said. "We're just asking them for an additional boost."
